March marks Women’s History Month and Federal Way Public Schools is proud to join the nationwide celebration honoring the remarkable achievements, resilience, and contributions of women throughout history.

Ramadan is observed from February 17 to March 19, 2026, and we recognize this is an important month for many in our community. To ensure students who are not eating during the school day have access to nutritious meals at home, Federal Way Public Schools is offering take-home breakfast and lunch options in alignment with OSPI guidance.

To support FWPS families and the community, we’ve added additional food banks, community meal sites, and food assistance resources to the FWPS Community Resources webpage.

The goal is to foster a stronger sense of pride among people with disabilities. Come together with FWPS to amplify the voices and broaden the stories of individuals with disabilities, fostering inclusive school environments.

From September 15 to October 15, Federal Way Public Schools is proud to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. This annual observance honors the rich histories, cultures, contributions, and achievements of people whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
